Richard King and KIG have been involved with business in Japan and the United States for over three decades, assisting clients in private industry as well as the government sector.

We have worked with diverse industries, developing strategic partnerships with major Japanese trading companies, engineering and construction firms, consumer electronics and high tech firms, trade associations and government entities.

In the U.S., KIG has assisted clients with introductions to Japanese companies in architecture and planning, engineering construction, entertainment, agribusiness and technology.

In 1999, Emperor Akihito and the government of Japan honored Richard with "The Order of the Rising Sun, Golden Rays with Rosette." This award recognizes his contribution to the strengthening of economic ties between Japan and the U.S., as well as the betterment of mutual understanding between both countries.
